Imagine this situation: You are looking for a job. 

Due to the crisis, many people are doing the same as you. There's a lot of competition, but you feel prepared. You have a degree or master's or an impressive background and are a real professional. 

One day...

...a call. It's a company interested in interviewing you! They checked out your CV, and they want to know you.

Wow! You are excited! On the day of the interview, you prepare yourself: you get a nice haircut, you dress appropriately (not too elegant, not too informal…), you are a bit nervous but focused, and the interview begins. 

The interview begins...in English.

You didn't see that coming. All your preparation, degrees, masters, and background don't seem important anymore.

During the interview, your confidence goes down. You get nervous, unsure of which vocabulary to use, and make silly mistakes.

Here's the harsh truth: Not having interview skills in English will prevent you from getting the job of your life. 

You can miss the opportunity of getting your dream job because good opportunities sometimes happen only once in a lifetime.

You never know when you'll have an important interview, and you need to be prepared. 

I know what I am talking about. During the last few years, I've prepared hundreds of students specifically for job interviews in English.

If you already know some English, preparing for a job interview is easy, and you don't need too much time.

THE NUMBER #1 MISTAKE When preparing a Job Interview in English.

Many people have to prepare for job interviews in English. 

Here is mistake number one: They try to cover too much information. 

They buy 300 pages of books with many explanations, vocabulary, and boring exercises. All of this for an interview! 

Question: How will they remember all that during the interview? It is too much information!! 

You need to be quick and fresh at a job interview because you don't have time to think! 

You want to give a good impression, right? 

So, what can you do? The answer is: Be specific. 

You would like to focus on a limited amount of information. This way, you will be able to remember it in the interview! 

You need to focus on the more frequent questions. You have to master them.

For example, you definitely need to automatize answers to questions like: 

• Why are you interested in working for this company?
• What are your salary expectations?
• Aren't you overqualified for this job?
• How do you handle stress and pressure?
• Describe a situation in which you had to provide negative feedback.

Please be honest with me: Do you know how to answer them effortlessly and confidently?  

It's not enough to know how to answer but also to know the vocabulary involved. You need to "train" your English to do that.
